ELL B1 Syllabus

In ELL B1, we will use the Future 2 student book and workbook.  We will supplement this textbook with weekly vocabulary words, additional grammar, and  daily readings.

Schedule:

8:30-9:00:  Vocabulary  (Spelling and Phonics)

9:00-10:00:  Topic Work (Grammar, Topic, Interactive Activity)

10:00-10:15:  Break

10:15-11:20:  Reading Strategies, Discussion, and Writing 

Homework: Burlington English - weekly homework for grammar and test practice

In order to move to ELL B2, students must score 207 on the CASAS Steps test. 

In order to move to ELL C1, students must score 217 on the CASAS STEPS test and 445 on the TABE E test.
